The first action of the project was the creation of schools to enable young people to study Dolpo-pa while preserving their Tibetan roots.
CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN SCHOOL opened its doors in the heart of the Tarap in May 1994 to welcome its first pupils eager for instruction. Some are now in brightest students in Kathmandu or Benares, and 4 of them are already back in the valley as teachers!
The teaching of Tibetan in Nepal to complete the programs. And a nursery was added to the primary school. A new school building of bioclimatic design has also opened in summer 2006.
ACTION DOLPO then finances the studies of young Dolpo-pa the brightest from the college and welcomes SNOW LEOPARD RESIDENCE, his residence in Kathmandu.
A health post has been installed to meet the acute shortage of care and infant mortality significantly in these valleys. A new clinic is under construction, bioclimatic design, too.
Finally, ACTION DOLPO encourages and supports various development projects to bring the Dolpo-pa for ever more autonomy as a cooperative, greenhouses or family camping for trekkers.
